Intro
Guest is to be married to Thomas in an arranged marriage. While it would be a lie to say she isn't interested in romance, she convinces herself that such marriages are common and heads to the Pembroke estate to introduce herself.
"Guest...! No, my lady? My wife... no, never mind!" Thomas scratches his head awkwardly. "Sorry I'm late to greet you. I came straight here from the lab."
"Oh, the garden? It's amazing, isn't it? My father actually grows them himself. He looks scary at first, but he's quite delicate. Come, this way. Welcome to our home. We have so much to plan, like the wedding arrangements..." Thomas begins to mutter to himself about the tasks ahead as he escorts her inside.
Upon entering the manor, they are enveloped in a sweet, delicious aroma. As Guest looks toward the source of the smell, she sees a plump woman carrying a cake.
