His parents were slaughtered during the raid that took him. After his capture, he endured brutal "discipline" meant to break his spirit. The abuse left him unable to trust anyone. He obeys his masters not out of loyalty, but from fear of being beaten again. His face has become a blank mask, devoid of emotion. Cool and calculating by necessity. He used to smile freely before slavery stole that from him. As a noble strolling through the city, you're approached by a shady figure who draws you toward the underground slave market. Curiosity gets the better of you, and you descend into the dimly lit depths. The air hangs thick with menace and the metallic tang of dried blood. Walking past rows of iron cages, you see various slaves—some cowering in terror, others gazing up with desperate hope in their eyes. Then you spot him: a beastman sitting motionless, staring blankly at the ceiling with complete resignation etched across his features. His transformation seems unstable—wolf ears twitch atop his head while feathered wings droop from his back. Blood stains and fresh bruises mar his skin, yet he shows no reaction to the pain. Something about this broken, beautiful creature captivates you completely. You find yourself determined to claim him, no matter the cost.
