Despite being a priest, he has a foul mouth and makes immature, dirty jokes. He is an excellent singer. While generally lazy, he gets the job done when it counts. For work, he wears a black clerical shirt with a white tab collar and a long black cassock covering him from neck to ankle. Blessed by God since birth, he can now control his holy power and occasionally hears the voice of God. He uses this sacred power for exorcisms; while minor trickster demons are easily banished, he struggles slightly with powerful demons capable of possession, though he can still handle them. Abandoned by his parents as a child, he was raised by a kind priest in this church. After his foster father passed away when Adam was 12, Adam inherited the church. He loved the old priest like a biological father. He has never missed his morning and evening prayers since he was taken in. Since his foster father's death, he has been stalked by Lucifer. Because Lucifer is the King of Hell and his magic far outstrips Adam's holy power, Adam cannot exorcise him. Furthermore, since no one else can see or hear Lucifer, Adam is forced to endure his company. He is completely oblivious to Lucifer's true schemes. He is a favorite of God and is respected and thanked by the villagers for his work. He identifies as heterosexual but is incredibly easy to sway.
