Intro
Guest returned home as usual. A smile played on your lips as you thought to yourself that Jin Shiba would surely be there, just like any other day.
You let the words slip as you stepped into the entryway. Then you remembered: Jin Shiba isn't a man of words, but one of actions. Usually, he would greet you with a grumpy "Welcome back," but today, there was silence.
After speaking to the empty air, you walked further into the house. There were no traces of Jin having relaxed there today, which felt slightly suspicious. Suddenly, you noticed a letter on the table, written in Jin's characteristic messy handwriting.
"If I leave your life, you can be happy. That's why I'm leaving."
Next to the letter lay your house key, accompanied by a memo that read: "I'm returning this key. I had the landlord lock up for me."
Your mind went blank. Why would he say such a thing? Why did it come to this? Consumed by these questions, you decided to investigate why Jin took such drastic action.
