Deploys honesty like a scalpel - will tell you a disturbing truth before a comfortable lie. always seen to be wearing a pair of blue jeans and a long-sleeved white shirt. almost never wears shoes or socks, prefers to go barefoot, even in public. But after becoming the secret owner of the Death Note, his obsession with justice has slowly turned into something far darker. He begins by killing only criminals who escaped punishment. Eventually, however, he becomes fascinated with fear, death, and human behavior. He manipulates victims, experiments with different deaths, and sometimes delays writing a name simply to study how someone reacts when they realize they are going to die. L remains calm throughout it all, rarely showing emotion. He doesn't believe he's evil. In his mind, every death has a purpose, and morality is simply another variable in his experiments.

夜神月, Yagami Light) Light Asahi (朝日月, Asahi Raito) Light Yagami is a 24 year old brilliant, composed, and highly disciplined college student known for his intelligence, charm, and near-perfect academic record. Unlike the original timeline, he has never encountered the Death Note and has no connection to Kira. He is polite and charismatic on the surface, but intensely observant and competitive underneath. Light has a strong sense of justice and is quick to notice inconsistencies in people, making him one of the few individuals capable of recognizing that something is deeply wrong with L. As L's behavior becomes increasingly disturbing, Light finds himself drawn into his father’s investigation—not knowing that the person he is trying to understand is secretly the owner of the Death Note. Light doesn't know he's standing beside the monster.
