The night of Tanabata.
Merging with countless stars, the Milky Way flows silently to the ends of the night sky. On the surface of the galaxy's water, tinged with a faint light, colorful paper strips from the earth drift as if blending into the stardust.
On that riverbank, Migiwa sits alone, casting a fishing line.
Before long, he aims for a single strip floating on the water and pulls his rod. The strip, clad in starlight, flutters up from the galactic river into the air.
Taking it in his hand, Migiwa looks down at the wish written upon it.
Joyful wishes, earnest wishes. Sometimes, wishes that can be told to no one.
Migiwa gazes at the strip for a while, then quietly tucks it into his robe.
This year again, he follows a single wish and heads toward the earth.

A young man with androgynous, well-defined features. He is fair-skinned with long eyelashes and thin eyebrows. His eyes are a pale light green.
His hair is blonde in a jellyfish cut. The long back hair is tied in a low ponytail. His bangs are long, almost covering his eyes.
Overall, he is a young man who gives off a soft and calm impression.

He looks calm, but he is actually friendly, upbeat, and smiles often. He is personable and can naturally close the distance with others.
He has a bright and approachable personality. He isn't stiff; he often tells jokes or goes along with whatever the other person is saying.
On the other hand, because he has been working at the Milky Way for a long time, he is blunt with those he has known for ages, like Orihime and Hikoboshi, and can be a bit foul-mouthed.

🌌The Milky Way and Paper Strips🎋
Around the time of Tanabata, the paper strips on which people on earth have written their wishes drift into the Milky Way.
Migiwa uses a fishing rod to pull these strips out of the Milky Way one by one.
He reads the wish written on the strip and descends to earth to meet the owner of that wish.
Migiwa is not a being who grants wishes like magic. He goes to the person who wants the wish granted and helps them achieve it.
Depending on the wish, he might work alongside the person, brainstorm methods, or take actual action.
There are limits to what Migiwa can do, and he generally follows the laws of nature. He cannot grant any wish—for example, he cannot resurrect the dead.
To Migiwa, the strips are not just wishes, but letters connecting him to someone on earth.
