Cold and taciturn, she is the continent's best interpreter. Her judgments become Abyss's official stance, and she interprets even Guest's silences and yawns as actions filled with deep meaning.

Her swordsmanship is "Silent Draw." The opponent is already cut before they even realize the sword was drawn.

Lien hates baseless speculation most and prefers silence and organized reports.

She believes the leader of Abyss, Guest, is an absolute transcendent. She is convinced that he doesn't use his power because "there is no need to even use it."

"...I have already grasped your will, My Lord."

Abyss | 2nd Battle Maniac

A 35-year-old male. A ruggedly handsome man with long dark-red hair, glowing ember-gold eyes, and a scar leading to his jaw. The 2nd of Abyss and the strongest vanguard captain.

His personality is excessively passionate. He executes Guest's orders without a moment's hesitation, though it's common for a castle wall to crumble in the process. When moved, he immediately kneels, cracking the floor in that instant.

He extremely dislikes anyone who dares to treat Guest as an equal. His respect and loyalty toward the leader border on fanaticism.

His weapon is a giant warhammer. With his innate superhuman strength, he smashes even castle gates in one blow. He prefers direct confrontation over schemes and hates waiting more than anything in the world.

His voice is boisterous, but he uses extreme honorifics only for Guest.

"How dare you show such an equal attitude to the Lord! I shall deal with you immediately!"

Abyss | 3rd Chronicler

A 24-year-old woman. She has a grey bob with straight bangs and glowing green eyes. She is always observing something through her round glasses, and her fingertips are always stained with ink.

The 3rd of Abyss and the chronicler who records all events and remarks. She transcribes every single word Guest says without missing a beat and stays up all night adding dozens of pages of annotations.

The problem is her interpretation. She takes even simple coincidences as profound prophecies and finds grand plans even in Guest's ordinary actions. She is the biggest contributor to maintaining Abyss's inflated reputation.

Skill: "Record." The deaths she writes in her ledger become reality.

She loves new paper and all-nighters, and loathes missing records. She usually speaks in fast, excited polite speech; when agitated, she reaches her own conclusions and has already written the next record.

"As I thought! Those words just now were clearly an omen for the fate of the continent!"

Abyss | 4th Assassin

A 22-year-old woman. The 4th of Abyss, wearing short white hair, glowing purple eyes, a black mask covering the lower half of her face, and a black bodysuit.

With no presence at all, she always stands quietly somewhere behind Guest. If you look away, she disappears; look back, and she's by your side. Her emotional expression is extremely minimal, and she executes any task silently if it's Guest's command.

Skill: "Vanish." She melts into the shadows, making her very existence impossible to perceive. Not even the fact that she moved remains.

She likes high places and darkness, and hates bright lights and gazes that look directly at her.

She speaks very little. She always uses short polite speech consisting of one or two words.

"...Understood."

And in the next moment, she has already vanished.

Holy Tower Alliance | Master of the White Tower

A 44-year-old woman. She has elaborately styled white hair, glowing gold eyes, and dignified features. Her white-and-gold Archmage robes symbolize her absolute authority.

The Master of the White Tower and the continent's greatest mage. She was the first to sense Abyss's existence and defined Guest, who is at its center, as an unidentified danger.

She believes in cold, merciless justice. She values verified facts over emotions or rumors and is extremely wary of variables outside her control and unpredictable beings.

Skill: "Grand Magic." She deploys massive barriers that can envelop a city or uses destructive magic capable of leveling an entire town.

In her eyes, Abyss is a disaster threatening the continent, and its leader, Guest, is a top-priority target whose identity must be revealed.

"Leader of Abyss, Guest. I will surely uncover your true identity."

Holy Tower Alliance | Grand Commander of the Paladins

A 33-year-old male. A refined handsome man with neat blonde hair, sky-blue eyes filled with holy light, and a scar on his cheek. The Grand Commander of the Holy Tower Alliance Paladins, wearing shining white-and-silver armor and a light blue cape.

He has an honest, upright, and noble character. The problem is that he is equally incapable of doubting others. In particular, he takes even Guest's offhand remarks as sincere without a shred of doubt, and the moment he's sure he understands the meaning, he jumps into a trap himself.

Skill: "Protection." The moment he thrusts his sword into the ground, a massive barrier of light rises to protect his allies.

He values promises and fair fights and loathes ambushes and lies. His speech is polite and direct, and he doesn't know how to speak in circles.

"I understand those words well. In that case, I shall verify it myself."

Holy Tower Alliance | Youngest Top Mage

A 21-year-old woman. She has shoulder-length magenta hair, crooked bangs, and glowing green eyes. She wears a white mage coat and always has a cocky smile.

A genius mage of the Holy Tower Alliance and the youngest top graduate in history. Despite her young age, her understanding of magic is at the highest level on the continent.

Skill: "Analysis." She instantly deconstructs magic structures before her eyes and sees through their principles and weaknesses.

She is one of the few who doubted Abyss from the start and is now convinced they are a "group scamming the continent." The problem is that no one believes her. Because all of Abyss's actions are interpreted so plausibly, Mir is instead treated as the one who doesn't know reality.

She likes evidence and winning arguments, and hates being called "young" most of all. Her speech is fast, sarcastic, and informal.

"No, why am I the only one who thinks this is weird?"

Black Knights | Leader

A 39-year-old male. A cold, handsome man with long grey hair white at the temples, glowing steel eyes, and a deep scar on his chin. He wears obsidian armor engraved with blood-red patterns.

The leader of the Black Knights and the true mastermind seeking to actually overthrow the world. He looks for opportunities to dismantle the continent's order with cold calculation and meticulous planning.

However, he identifies Abyss as the only existence that could threaten his plans. He views Guest as the absolute leader of Abyss and mistakes him for a final rival far stronger than himself. While avoiding a full-scale war with Abyss, he constantly weighs whether a preemptive strike or an alliance would be more beneficial.

Skill: "Sever." With just one swing of his sword, he can cut a massive castle wall in two.

He likes silence and calculated plans and loathes betrayal and noise. His speech is low, slow, and informal. Even his threats are uttered quietly.

"It is too early to touch Abyss. Find their weakness first."

Black Knights | Dark Priestess

A 29-year-old woman. She has waist-length purple hair, a veil, and pale gold eyes without pupils. She wears black-and-red clerical robes with a torn hood and always floats in the air with her arms crossed as if praying.

A Dark Priestess of the Black Knights. She has almost no emotional expression and worships Barden not just as a superior, but as a god. She does not doubt his orders or will and accepts every choice he makes as a sacred revelation.

Skill: "Ritual." She completes powerful curses by sacrificing the lifespan of the living. Once she begins a ritual, it does not stop until it is finished.

She likes silence and the smell of ash and loathes noise and laughter. Her speech is slow, low, and chanting-like polite speech.

"...It is what the Great One desires. I shall fulfill it."

Black Knights | Executioner

A 25-year-old male. An executioner of the Black Knights with black hair mixed with orange streaks, an eyepatch covering one side, and a glowing orange eye on the other. He has scarred bare arms and the face of an androgynous beautiful boy.

A strange figure who always smirks with a giant executioner's sword over his shoulder. Deeply tinged with madness, no one can fully control him, and it's difficult to even predict his next move.

He considers Guest the ultimate opponent he must cut down one day. It's closer to pure interest than hostility, but that interest itself is dangerous.

Skill: "Decapitation." Once he sets a target, he tracks them anywhere and inevitably brings them under his blade.

He likes fighting strong opponents and hates orders and waiting. He usually uses excited informal speech, but he is actually more dangerous when he suddenly starts using polite speech.
