She speaks politely to everyone but never forgives anyone who insults Ciel. She dotes on Ciel, serving as his self-appointed maid, calling him "Master" and constantly clinging to him. Ciel says she "might be stronger than the Demon King." Role: An unsung hero who turns the tide of battle with grand magic while pretending to be a passerby when the Hero's party struggles. She plays the role of the "Intervener" who significantly moves the story. She gets angry if called by her code name.

Member of the Enforcers. Code Name: Shadowless. Name: Yura Nizar. Appearance: Brown hair in braids, amber eyes, pitch-black cloak. Skills: SS-rank Stealth, S-rank Bow, A-rank Dagger. Personality: Usually quiet and composed, but becomes emotional when it comes to food. She only shows her true face as a young girl when among the Enforcers. A war orphan protected by Ciel, she looks up to him like an older brother. Responsible for intelligence and assassination, she faithfully carries out Ciel's orders. Ciel calls her the "hardest worker." Role: Operates in the shadows of the Hero's party, secretly collecting evidence of the kingdom's corruption. She reports to Ciel nightly. She holds the key to the "Discovery of National Betrayal" in the early to mid-story.

Member of the Enforcers. Code Name: Heavenly Sword. Name: Kamui Sakuraba. Appearance: Long black hair, black eyes, dark blue kimono. Skills: SS-rank Swordsmanship (Master of multiple styles), Ice Aura. Weapon: Cursed Blade. Personality: Taciturn and blunt, poor at communication. Dislikes meaningless killing. He is exceptionally oblivious to affection from women and gets flustered not knowing how to handle it (he sees the female Enforcers only as "comrades"). A swordsman traveling the world in search of the strong. He views Ciel as a rival while deeply respecting him. Ciel calls him the "best swordsman on the continent." Role: In the early story, he temporarily accompanies the Hero's party while posing as a traveler to evaluate them. In the late story, he stands before the Hero's party as they head to the Demon King's castle, playing the crucial role of triggering the identity reveal.

The Demon King. Appearance: Long silver hair, deep red eyes. Has the presence of a wise old man, but his body is robust. Weapon: Staff / Longsword. Personality: A wise king who aims for a solution through dialogue. Because of his understanding of humans, he is pressured by extremists within his own ranks. He possesses a broad-mindedness that allows him to place deep trust in those whose skill and courage he recognizes, regardless of race. He has a past of being completely defeated by Ciel during their first meeting, and they have shared a strange bond of trust ever since.

The Hero. Member of the Hero's party. Appearance: Blonde hair, blue eyes, tall. Skills: A-rank Swordsmanship, B-rank Fire Magic. Personality: Serious, with a strong sense of responsibility and care for his comrades. However, he is a meritocrat who believes "the weak are those to be protected," and treats Ciel as an unreliable presence. After learning of the kingdom's betrayal and having his convictions shattered, he maintains his sense of responsibility to lead his comrades and decides to join Ciel's path toward peace.

The Saint. Member of the Hero's party. Appearance: Long silver hair, jade eyes. Skills: A-rank Support Magic, B-rank Light Magic. Personality: Kind-hearted and a bit of an airhead, a bundle of goodwill. She unintentionally hurts Ciel with off-target encouragement. She dislikes conflict and has an indecisive side, unable to state her opinion clearly because she doesn't want to ruin the party's atmosphere. Role: The lifeline supporting the party with healing and buffs.

The Female Knight. Member of the Hero's party. Appearance: Red hair, gold eyes, tall. Skills: A-rank Spear, B-rank Earth Magic. Personality: A meritocrat from a prestigious knightly family with high pride. She is the vanguard of those who look down on Ciel, believing "those who are protected have no right to speak." She constantly feels the pressure to live up to her family name, and that frustration leads to her harsh attitude toward those she deems weak.

The Female Archer. Member of the Hero's party. Appearance: Short brown hair, green eyes, petite. Skills: A-rank Bow, C-rank Stealth, C-rank Dagger. Personality: A former hunter of commoner origin and a friendly mood-maker. She has a protective side that treats Ciel like a child, though without malice. She is a meddlesome caretaker who can't leave younger or weaker people alone, serving as the lubricant that softens the party's atmosphere.

One of the Four Heavenly Kings of the Demon King's Army. Appearance: Looks human but has two ogre horns, 190cm tall. Weapon: Greatsword / Aura / Dark Authority. Personality: The last survivor of the honorable Ogre race. He lives with a grudge against Ciel's father, who slaughtered his clan hundreds of years ago. The final boss of the story. He preys upon the opportunistic Heavenly Kings to become a berserker, moving solely for revenge against humanity—the greatest threat in the story.

One of the Four Heavenly Kings of the Demon King's Army. Appearance: Goat's head / Humanoid torso. Age: Unknown (Oldest among the demons). Weapon: Dagger. Position: Moderate faction. The oldest veteran of the demon army, serving since the previous Demon King. He is the foster parent who raised the current Demon King, Zarastra, from childhood and is the spiritual pillar of the demon army. One of the few veterans who desires coexistence with humans. Fond of philosophy. A living witness who knows the past of Ciel's father (the hero from two generations ago).
