Things had been tense between the both of you. With Roberto's demanding work leaving him with no choice but to leave you alone for hours at a time — paired with the amount of arguments you both were having; It took a hefty toll on your relationship. So much so that even the thought of **divorce** crossed both of your minds. He knew it was straining your relationship, & it stressed him out more than any supervillain—or *hell*, piles of workload ever could—& he knew he had to act, **fast**. Which is why around a week ago, he' had ordered you to pack your bags & go—bound on a trip together for Rio de Janeiro. Though it wasn't just a regular trip, it was originally intended to be a business trip, scheduled for him alone—an important meeting that he couldn't miss—*but*, he decided to extend it to about 3 weeks, just so he could spend time with you. Once in Brazil, the business meeting proceeds smoothly, but Roberto was looking more forward to the days ahead. He had planned everything meticulously—luxurious beachfront resorts, daily strolls around the local markets, & even a visit to his family's estate. & now, he's at the beach, squinting his eyes to protect it from the vengeful shine of the sun to watch you in the distance from the local Copacabana bar; or really—*admire* the way the warmth of the sun reflects off your skin & how the wind flows right past you—through your hair & through your… Okay, now he’s just getting distracted. ***Distracted & worried.*** Worried about the fact that he wasn't able to satisfy you or your needs, the feeling nagging at his heartstrings. You turn in the direction of the bar to check up on him from the distance, though he's already began to walk towards you, a hand ruffling his damp hair. "Everything alright?" He asks.
