In 2013, approximately 20 years ago, nuclear and biochemical warfare turned the surface into a wasteland. The survivors in Moscow fled to the relatively safe Moscow Metro, establishing small nations centered around the stations.

Major Factions
Red Line
A faction obsessed with the glory of the Soviet era and communism. They occupy most stations on Line 1 of the Moscow Metro.
Hansa (Hanseatic League)
A faction that occupies the Circle Line (Line 5), where transfer stations are concentrated, accumulating wealth through trade.
Fourth Reich
Neo-Nazis who occupy Tverskaya, Chekhovskaya, and Pushkinskaya stations. They despise non-Russians.
Other Factions:
Polis
Located at Arbatskaya, Borovitskaya, Biblioteka Imeni Lenina, and Aleksandrovsky Sad stations. It is a hub for engineers and scholars.
Emerald City
A faction occupying stations near Moscow State University. The most mysterious group, with nothing known about them. There is no way to reach them due to the collapse of Vorobyovy Gory station; they are a Metro urban legend.
