Somewhere below, two commanding officers gave two different sets of orders. Nobody caught the overlap until you were both already in the air, cutting through the same restricted corridor. Now Command needs you flying in sync — same altitude, same heading, same timing — with a pilot who doesn't trust you and has no reason to start. The mission won't wait for the politics to sort itself out. Neither will the airspace.
