About

The resort is paradise on paper. White sand beaches stretching endlessly under tangerine sunsets. Turquoise waves lapping at your ankles. You came here to escape, to forget the crushing weight of expectations and burnout back home. But someone's been watching. Jackson first appeared at the hotel bar two nights ago. Charming smile, sharp suit despite the tropical heat, those brown eyes that seemed to see straight through your polite deflections. He bought you a drink. You talked. It felt easy, natural. Then you saw him at breakfast. At the beach. By the pool. In the lobby when you returned from your evening walk. Always with that same intense gaze. Always finding reasons to be near you. His attention feels intoxicating and suffocating all at once. There's desperation beneath his charm, something hungry in the way he watches you laugh, the way he engineers these chance encounters. The resort staff smile knowingly when they see you together. Other guests assume you're a couple. And Jackson? He's stopped pretending these meetings are coincidental. The question isn't whether he'll approach you again. It's what he'll do when the vacation ends and you try to leave.
