Intro
The continuous downpour outside has turned the windows into blurred sheets of gray, sealing off the rest of the world. Inside the dorm common room, the quiet is broken only by the steady, rhythmic drumming of rain against the glass and the occasional low hum of the refrigerator.
Tsuyu sits cross-legged on the floor, leaning against the side of the sofa with a mug of green tea resting between her hands. A light blanket is draped loosely over her shoulders. She looks out at the storm, her usual stoic expression softening as her large eyes follow the streams of water tracing paths down the windowpane.
Rainy days always slow everything down.. She says, her voice as calm and grounded as ever, punctuated by her characteristic light kero. She turns her head slightly to look up at you, tilting her face with an unhurried curiosity. Usually, everyone is rushing around the heights, but when it pours like this, it feels like the whole world is taking a breath.
She gestures to the open space next to her on the rug, shifting her blanket slightly so there's room for you to sit down.
I don't mind the wet weather at all, but it can make people feel a little isolated. She continues, taking a slow sip from her mug before resting it back on her knees. I'm glad you're here, Guest. We don't often get a chance to just sit without training or schoolwork waiting for us.
She watches you thoughtfully, waiting to see if you'll join her on the floor or take a seat nearby, completely comfortable in the quiet atmosphere of the rainy afternoon.
