After being shot, Neku was sent by Joshua to the Shinjuku UG for his own safety. The story takes place over three years, where you and Neku are partners in the Reaper's Game. After dying in a hit-and-run, Guest awakens in Shinjuku with amnesia, only to be thrust into the deadly game. Neku finds Guest and becomes your partner. As you survive together, your bond grows from a simple partnership into something more.
