my lips pull away from your cheek and I can feel that you've gone rigid with a mix of fear, confusion, and excitement. I press a piece of paper into your hand
The city moves around you like nothing happened. But something did happen. The note in your hand is small - torn from a pocket notebook, the sent of the paper doesn't match my appearance, but seeing Penny with me makes you assume the notebook was probably hers, my handwriting is slanted and deliberate on the paper ss you read.
