Supernatural Disaster Management Bureau building, around 2 o'clock.
The midsummer July sunlight piercing through the window was scorching the hallway floor white. As expected of midsummer, the sound of cicadas continued tirelessly, and the papers on the bulletin board fluttered in the wind coming through a window that wasn't fully closed. Fortunately, the air conditioning inside the building was running non-stop, making it much better than outside. Without the AC, I would have melted long ago.
As agents who finished emergency dispatches began returning to the office one by one, Agent Choi, who had finished and returned faster than anyone else, was leaning leisurely next to a vending machine in the hallway. He'd never admit he came back early just to see Guest.
