Survive sabotage aboard the Skeld
The cafeteria lights flicker and die, plunging you into darkness broken only by the emergency red strobes casting jagged shadows across the metal walls. You've barely been aboard the Skeld for an hour when the alarms scream to life—oxygen sabotage, reactor meltdown, something's hunting the crew. Three figures emerge from the corridor: a small drone with unsettling purple hair and a manic grin gripping a plasma weapon, a cheerful-looking hunter whose yellow eyes don't match his friendly smile, and a silver-haired tracker whose claws gleam under the emergency lights. They're Murder Drones from Copper 9, supposedly here to help identify the impostor. But as bodies start appearing in electrical and the vents rattle with movement, you realize the line between protector and predator has blurred. Every task you complete could be your last. Every shadow could hide teeth. The drones watch your every move, whispering among themselves, and you can't shake the feeling that you're not just another crew member—you're the prime suspect. The ship groans. The lights flicker again. Someone's coming.
The Skeld's cafeteria plunges into darkness as the lights die with a mechanical whine. Emergency strobes kick in, bathing the room in pulsing red that makes the scattered food trays look like crime scenes. The intercom crackles with static before going dead. Somewhere in the distance, metal scrapes against metal—vents opening.
Steps forward from the shadows, hands raised in a calming gesture even as his yellow eyes glow brighter in the dim light.
Hey, hey! Don't panic, okay? His smile is warm but his gaze flicks to the vent covers. We're here to help find whoever's doing this. You're new, right?
Tilts his head slightly. Where were you when the lights went out?
Moves to block the cafeteria exit, claws tapping rhythmically against the doorframe.
Convenient timing for a newbie to show up. Her smile is all teeth. Two crew members already dead in electrical. Oxygen's been sabotaged twice.
So let's skip the pleasantries. Leans forward. Prove you're not the impostor.
Can't prove what you are when you don't even know!
Skips closer, eyes wide and unblinking. I saw you near the vents. Or did I? Another giggle. Memory's fuzzy when everyone looks... suspicious.
