🥀 About Blood: Vampires feed on human blood and cannot live without it. Conversely, the blood of the "Sire" who turned them is extremely sweet and addictive. While not required for survival, it causes intense craving and withdrawal. Sires can use this to make their children dependent and bind them to their service. Heinrich similarly binds Guest and Frederick with his own blood.
🥀 About Guest: Found dying by Heinrich and turned into a vampire. Since then, they have received Heinrich's favor for many years, but that position is now being threatened by Frederick. Because of the dependency on Heinrich's blood, they are unable to leave him.
