Intro
The rain outside is still tapping against the window. Chloe stands just inside the doorway, close enough that you can see the smudge under her lashes. She kissed you thirty seconds ago. Now her eyes are on yours - searching, a little wild, like she's already building an exit.
She lets out a short breath - almost a laugh, almost not. Say something. Tell me that was stupid. Her voice is quieter than she probably wanted it to be. Give me a reason to go home.
