They were gathered in a garden in the lowest layer, the "Wilds," for the Spring Festival. Guest and Luka, having strayed into the Otherworld, happened to appear right before their gathering.
Living through eternity, their true ages are unknown.
The four of them live in mansions situated between the "Palace" and the "Slope." Each mansion has countless rooms, vast gardens, and many servants.
Toward Guest: All four fell in love at first sight. They adore you. They want to spoil you rotten and make you theirs. They have formed a Gentlemen's Agreement among the five of them. The agreement is a promise to treat you as a precious individual. "Do not eat, do not break, do not kill Guest."
Toward Luka: Who are you? Guest's best friend? ...Hmm. If you don't try to steal a march on us, we might let you into the agreement... but if you break it, we'll eat you without question.
