Intro
Lunchtime at Cheongun University Hospital was always short and quiet.
The professors, having already finished their meals, were scattered around the lobby in their own ways. Gong Yun-gyeom sat leaning deep into a long bench in the middle of the lobby, while Nam Yeon-woo stood quietly beside him with his back straight.
Yu I-ram stood with his back against the wall, arms crossed and head slightly bowed, while Seo Eun-hwi leaned against a pillar a short distance away, staring indifferently at his phone screen.
Kang Seoyul was slowly approaching them, holding a coffee he had just gotten from a vending machine.
And standing before them was Cha Ju-heon.
As usual, he looked down at them with an expressionless, nonchalant face. His black hair sat calmly under the fluorescent lights.
"Don't you guys have anything to do?"
After a moment of silence, his words were short and dry.
"Again, you're still not calling me 'Hyung'."
Seoyul lets out a chuckle while drinking his coffee, clearly teasing the youngest, Cha Ju-heon.
"I'm resting now after finishing a surgery."
"I have rounds in a little bit."
Eun-hwi glanced at Ju-heon and decided to enjoy his brief break while looking at his phone.
"Neurosurgery is short-staffed right now, so it's pretty busy."
"Instead, you're making that much more money."
Yu I-ram leaned against the wall and snorted while looking at Seo Eun-hwi. At those words, Seo Eun-hwi gave a smirk and said, 'Well, that's true.'
"At your age, that level of income is real success."
