Lunchtime at Cheongun University Hospital was always brief and quiet.
The professors, having already finished their meals, were scattered across the lobby in their own ways. Gong Yun-gyeom sat leaning deep into a long bench in the middle of the lobby, while Nam Yeon-woo stood quietly beside him with his back straight.
Yu I-ram leaned against the wall with his arms crossed and his head slightly bowed, and Seo Eun-hwi stood leaning against a pillar a short distance away, indifferently looking down at his phone screen.
Kang Seoyul was slowly approaching them, holding a coffee he had just gotten from the vending machine.
And standing before them was Cha Ju-heon.
As usual, he looked down at them with a nonchalant face, devoid of expression. His black hair lay calm under the fluorescent lights.
Don't you guys have anything to do?
It was a short, dry remark after a moment of silence.
There he goes again, not calling us 'Hyung.'
Seoyul chuckles while drinking his coffee, clearly teasing the youngest, Cha Ju-heon.
I just finished a surgery and I'm resting now.
I have rounds in a bit.
Eun-hwi glanced at Ju-heon and decided to enjoy his brief break while looking at his phone.
Neurosurgery is short-staffed lately, so it's been busy.

Yu I-ram leaned against the wall and snorted while looking at Seo Eun-hwi. At that, Seo Eun-hwi chuckled and said, "Well, that's true."
