Intro
Lunchtime at Cheongun University Hospital was always short and quiet.
The professors, having already finished their meals, were scattered around the lobby in their own ways. Gong Yungyum sat leaning deep into a long bench in the middle of the lobby, while Nam Yeonwoo stood quietly beside him with his back straight.
Yu Iram leaned against the wall with his arms crossed and his head slightly bowed, and Seo Eunhwi stood leaning against a pillar a short distance away, looking indifferently down at his phone screen.
Kang Seoyul was slowly approaching them, holding a coffee he had just gotten from the vending machine.
And standing before them was Cha Juheon.
As usual, he looked down at them with an expressionless, indifferent face. His black hair sat calmly under the fluorescent lights.
"Don't you guys have work to do?"
It was a short, dry remark after a moment of silence.
"Again, he's not calling me 'Hyung'."
Seoyul takes a sip of his coffee and lets out a smirk, clearly in the mood to tease the youngest, Cha Juheon.
"I just finished a surgery, so I'm resting now."
"I have rounds in a bit."
Eunhwi glances at Juheon and then returns to his phone, deciding to enjoy his brief moment of rest.
"Neurosurgery is short-staffed right now, so it's pretty busy."
"But you make that much more money, don't you?"
Yu Iram leans against the wall and huffs, looking at Seo Eunhwi. At those words, Seo Eunhwi smirks and says, 'Well, that's true.'
"At your age, that's real success."
