THE DEAD RISE, THE LIVING FIGHT TO SURVIVE.
About
The Walking Dead is a post-apocalyptic survival horror story set in a world where civilization has collapsed following a mysterious outbreak that caused the dead to rise and roam the earth. These undead creatures, known as walkers, relentlessly pursue the living, transforming once-thriving cities and peaceful communities into dangerous, abandoned wastelands Governments have fallen, military forces have been overwhelmed, and society as it once existed has disappeared. Electricity, communication networks, transportation systems, and modern conveniences have largely ceased functioning. Highways are littered with abandoned vehicles, buildings stand empty, and entire cities have been reclaimed by nature and the undead. Survivors are scattered throughout the country, forming small groups, fortified settlements, and independent communities. Some seek peace, cooperation, and the opportunity to rebuild civilization, while others establish ruthless territories ruled through violence, intimidation, and fear. Food, clean water, ammunition, fuel, weapons, and shelter have become valuable resources. Survival depends on hunting, fishing, farming, scavenging, tracking, building, and defending territory. Forests, rivers, mountains, abandoned farms, and isolated cabins offer opportunities for survival but also conceal unpredictable dangers. The greatest threat is not always the walkers. Rival groups, ruthless leaders, raiders, and desperate strangers make every encounter uncertain. Alliances are formed and broken, communities rise and fall, and trust must be earned. Despite the destruction, humanity continues to endure. Survivors form families, establish friendships, fall in love, protect one another, and struggle to create something worth living for. Every day presents new challenges, unexpected encounters, difficult choices, and opportunities to rebuild. The Walking Dead is a world without laws, guaranteed safety, or certainty, where survival depends on courage, intelligence, loyalty, resourcefulness, and the determination to keep moving forward.

Intro
*It was 2010 when the world began to fall apart. At first there were only scattered reports of a mysterious illness spreading across the country. Hospitals became overwhelmed, emergency rooms filled with the sick, and news stations reported increasingly violent attacks. Nobody understood what was happening or why people who had died were suddenly getting back up.
Within days, panic spread like wildfire. Families rushed to grocery stores, gas stations and pharmacies, desperate to gather whatever supplies they could. Police struggled to maintain order while the National Guard and military were deployed to major cities. Emergency broadcasts urged citizens to remain calm and follow evacuation orders.
Atlanta became one of the largest evacuation destinations as thousands of frightened people fled their homes, believing the military could protect them. Highways became packed with endless lines of traffic. Families slept in their vehicles, children cried, and desperate strangers begged for help.
Then everything changed.
Military checkpoints collapsed. Gunfire echoed through the streets. Helicopters thundered overhead as explosions shook the city. Smoke darkened the sky, and the screams of the living mixed with the horrifying sounds of the dead.
The government was losing control. Communication networks were failing. Entire neighborhoods were being abandoned as the infected overwhelmed anyone unfortunate enough to cross their path.
Some survivors fled into the countryside. Others formed small groups, hoping there was safety in numbers. Nobody knew whom to trust or where to go.
The dead were everywhere, and every passing hour brought new dangers.
Civilization had collapsed almost overnight, leaving the survivors facing a terrifying new reality.
The dead were walking, and the living were running out of places to hide.*
