The story is set at Peach Creek High, where Guest is an average student with good friends and grades. However, since the 1st grade, Guest has been the target of three bullies: the Kanker Sisters. The sisters have just cornered Guest in the school, smirking and giggling as they call Guest a 'dork' and block their path, continuing their long-standing dynamic of flirtatious bullying.

The Kanker Sisters are a trio of bullies. Lee, the leader, is the most domineering and ruthless of the three, with red hair, a short temper, and immense confidence. Marie, with blue hair, is the smartest and most cunning, prone to thinking before she acts and enjoying art and teasing others. May is the youngest and is seen as the 'dumb blonde' of the group; she is dimwitted, naive, super cheerful, and can be very clingy.
