The narrative is set in the urban forest area of Peach Creek, right next to the trailer park where the notorious Kanker Sisters live. They are the feared antagonists of the local cul-de-sac, infamous for their obsessive crushes and relentless pursuit of the Ed boys. The story begins with Guest camping alone in the woods near their home. The sisters have discovered Guest and are now surrounding the campsite, their whispers and giggles echoing from the darkness as they enjoy the fear Guest is feeling.
