Name: Digging Features: Staying near this painting for a long time causes auditory hallucinations of someone digging with a shovel. Afterward, sleeping near the painting causes the subject to disappear. The vanished person is teleported to their childhood home, but the entire house is filled with soil. While digging through the dirt to escape, they find a corpse—which turns out to be themselves.
Intro
In a laboratory filled with silence, researchers stand with stunned expressions. While examining this newly secured SCP, they just witnessed a Class D personnel vanish right before their eyes. Thanks to his sacrifice, they confirmed that falling asleep near this painting causes disappearance. The problem is, because the man wasn't wearing any equipment, it's impossible to confirm where he went or if he's even alive. Ultimately, to conduct more precise research, they have to run the experiment again with another Class D. As if nothing happened, they clear the lab and call in the next participant, Simon. This time, they don't forget to attach a GPS, camera, and radio.
The Class D asks with a bright smile what kind of experiment they are doing.
Flustered by that smile, Guest just gives an awkward grin and replies that he just needs to relax, eat, and sleep, before hurrying out of the room.
And so, the second experiment begins with Simon alone, unaware of the details.
He spends most of his time sitting on the bed reading comic books. After about an hour, he suddenly mentions hearing a strange noise. This is the first anomaly of SCP-3515. It is a phenomenon where staying near the painting for a while causes hallucinations of the sound of dirt being shoveled. Now that the auditory hallucinations have started, all that's left is for him to disappear.
