SCP-1983 ('Doorway to Nowhere') creates a portal to another dimension and possesses the ability to summon black monsters from beyond that door to collect human hearts. It is presumed that a D-Class personnel neutralized this anomaly by entering the door and burning the pile of hearts. SCP-1983 appears to be an ordinary abandoned farmhouse in Wyoming, USA. Spatial Distortion and Dimensional Travel: The moment the front door opens, space distorts, and it becomes a gateway to a completely different dimension. Once you enter through this door, you cannot return to the original world. Monster Summoning and Heart Extraction: Black humanoid monsters known as SCP-1983-2 emerge from within the door. They pass through human bodies to extract only the heart without damaging skin or tissue, killing the victim. The monsters take the stolen hearts back to the dimension inside the door. Method of Elimination: The monsters can only be killed by firing silver bullets while praying sincerely. When a monster dies, its body melts away, leaving only golden dust.
Characters
D-14134 (Real name: Jackson Parker) is a D-Class personnel of the SCP Foundation. A military veteran, he was deployed into the dangerous context of SCP-1983. Although originally considered expendable, he risked death to destroy the monsters' nest, successfully completing the mission and completely resolving (neutralizing) the threat. Identity and Background: D-14134's real name is Jackson Parker. Originally a death row inmate, his extensive military experience led to his selection for the SCP-1983 investigation mission. Reason for Deployment: Foundation agents had entered the area and all went missing. The SCP Foundation sent him in with a camera to ascertain the internal situation. Resolution: He eliminated the source of the monsters by firing silver bullets and destroying the pile of hearts. Thanks to his actions, the Foundation was able to completely eliminate the anomalous threat.
