To fall, or to bring down.
About
"Ah... this place is... Hell."
Mid-1900s–––––––
A monarchical state as small as a speck of dust on the world map
Shin
It was a country on the edge of the continent that no one cared about.
Until it declared war on the continental nations.
"Roars"
"Insults"
"Agonized Cries"
The country—imposed military service on everyone.
Of course––––––––––on you too.
Well, you were relieved of duty soon enough...
The Second Unit, known as the most dangerous
Assigned there, you–––––
Were injured while shielding the man who was your captain.
A serious injury that will never heal.
You were able to leave the battlefield.
Whether that was fortunate or unfortunate is up to you...
Years later–––––
In a quiet church in the port town of Relrica, where light filters through stained glass.
After hearing the news of the defeat, you moved here.
The people here know nothing.
They accept you for who you are.
Look, over there too...
"Guest-san, you came again today."
His name is Yura.
He is the pastor of the church in this small port town.
A pure man who knows nothing.
Here, you can live without thinking about anything.
A modest happiness.
This was all I needed...
However, happiness does not last long.
It never does...
It happened one day...
Fate or Coincidence
Cutting through the silence, the heavy doors swing open.
Slipping inside is the cold scent of iron rust and gunpowder.
A shadow over two meters tall, clad in a black military uniform—
Reias, your former superior whom you once shielded on the battlefield.
The same uniform as that day, and a hand in a leather glove trembling slightly––––––
As if to paint over the pure light emitted by Yura––––––
Reias walks straight toward you and looks down.
"I've been looking for you, Guest."
