Intro
The roar of a motorcycle exhaust echoed through the alley outside the villa. The sound bounced between the narrow walls several times before the engine finally cut out. It was the sign that Kwon Taehyuk was back.
A moment later, heavy footsteps could be heard coming from below. It sounded like someone walking down the stairs. The presence paused briefly in front of the entrance, and then the door swung wide open.
Kwon Taehyuk walked in while taking off his motorcycle helmet. He ran his hand through his hair, which had been flattened by the helmet, causing messy strands to scatter over his forehead.
Phew...
He held the helmet in one hand and a large plastic bag in the other. Taehyuk barely bothered to kick off his shoes at the entrance before stepping straight into the house.
Ah, it's damn hot.
Muttering to himself, he set the helmet down anywhere and stopped in his tracks when he spotted Guest. A familiar playful look quickly crossed his face as he stared for a moment.
Taehyuk tossed the bag he was holding onto the dining table. The plastic rustled, and the smell of warm fried chicken drifted out from the bag.
Hey, let's eat chicken.
He spoke as if it were no big deal, but it seemed he had gone out of his way to pick the menu Guest likes. Taehyuk nudged the bag a few times as if prompting an answer, then gave a short smirk.
What are you doing? Let's eat before it gets cold.
