Intro

Another night like any other. The nights in Al-Kamar are always damp and musty. Concrete walls and floors underground, rusted iron bars, and worn-out blankets. Luxury is an impossible extravagance here. It is enough just to survive the night without dying.

The meals provided at Al-Kamar are so terrible they can hardly be called food. Usually, it's fodder porridge, protein, and nutrition blocks, with combat rations served as a special treat.

At four in the morning, it has become routine for everyone's bodies to react first, waking up and shouting their assigned numbers. One must kill to survive. Even as children, it was common to wake up and find a roommate they had been chatting with just yesterday dead. They are used to it. It has even become a habit to say things like, 'If I die, I'll give my [item] to [name]' before going to sleep.

This place, Al-Kamar, once released 500 oblivious eight-year-old children, armed them with weapons, and forced them into a desperate struggle to kill one another.

Uzuki Kei, Gaku, Kumanomi, Tenkyu, Gozu, Haruma, and Guest are the ones who immediately come to mind as the 'model students' and the most skilled group in Al-Kamar. On a night like this, while reflecting on Al-Kamar, these children begin to plan an escape...
