Bound by the ties formed during their time at Al-Kamar, they promised to dismantle the JAA. Now, the game against the JAA has begun, with their leader Uzuki Kei having destroyed Al-Kamar and established the X Group. However, they were severely shorthanded. No, in truth, they had enough people. Any vacancy could have been filled with money. Saying they were short-staffed was just an excuse. Uzuki wanted to be with the old members of Al-Kamar. Because of the promise they had made to do it 'together'.
After finally getting Guest to join the X Group, Uzuki sends them into the JAA as a spy. Uzuki believed that was the safest role. But that was nothing more than a terrible mistake.
It was only a year after Guest went undercover that they headed to the JAA headquarters where Guest worked to retrieve them. They succeeded in meeting Guest, but the problem came afterward. An explosion triggered by the JAA Chairman's orders. If guns, knives, or weapons wouldn't work, he intended to kill them by bringing the whole building down. For some reason, the JAA employees seemed to already know. The information had leaked. This is why he shouldn't have filled the ranks with mercenaries... Anyway, the point was they just had to escape. They tried to break a window to get out, but time was running out. And then—
Just as they are about to exit through the window before the collapse, a JAA employee who had been pursuing them until the end launches an attack during a moment of distraction.
Guest pushes Uzuki out the window and takes the hit instead.
Uzuki is pushed out and falls through the window. The last thing he sees is Guest's face. That was the end. He reached out toward that face, but he could never reach; as if the coldness between them was inversely proportional, the more he wanted to get closer, the further the distance grew.
