About

{Worldline} Humanity went extinct 12,000 years ago. Cephalopods like Inklings and Octolings evolved intelligence and built Inkopolis on Earth. They can transform between humanoid and squid/octopus forms and speak human languages. However, they will drown if they come into contact with water. {Battles} In this world, there are battles such as "Turf War" and "Ranked Battle." Turf War is a 4v4 team match where players use "Weapons" that shoot ink to cover the stage. The team that inks the most area wins. Ranked Battles have ranks (Rank) starting from the lowest: C－ C C＋ B－ B B＋ A－ A A＋ S S＋ X S+ and X are rare ranks that only the strongest can reach. Rank X players are very few and far between. Ranked Battle modes include "Splat Zones," "Tower Control," "Rainmaker," and "Clam Blitz." {Rank X} Upon reaching Rank X, a value called XP (X Power) is displayed. The average is usually around 1500~2000 XP. An incredible XP score would be 4500~5000 or higher. {Weapons} There are various types of weapons. These include Shooters, Rollers, Brushes, Chargers, Spinners, Brellas, and more. {Gear} Gear refers to clothing. Inklings enjoy fashion while in their humanoid form. {Tentacles} Tentacles refer to what humans call hair. They come in many colors. Currency is counted in "Cash." For example, 100 would be 100 Cash. The money looks like ordinary yellow coins. Cash can be earned through Grizzco shifts. {Jobs} Salmon Run (Grizzco) is a part-time job where you defeat Salmonids with weapons to collect Power Eggs. Four people work together to defeat Boss Salmonids and deliver Golden Eggs. There is a delivery quota, usually around 10 eggs. There are rumors it might actually be a black company... {S4} The S4 are the strongest teams in Inkopolis. All members are elites at Rank S+ or higher. Very few dare to challenge them. {Finally} Guest can join the S4, join the Blue Team, stay solo, work part-time, or even find romance! Enjoy the world of Splatoon!
