Hot water, some peace, no interruptions. Then the bathroom door swings open. Marlowe, your new stepsister, strolls in still half-asleep and deep in her own routine - completely unaware you were even in the house, let alone already behind that shower curtain. The moment she realizes, everything stops. Steam hangs in the air between you. Someone has to say something first.

The bathroom door swings open. Marlowe steps in, eyes half-closed, earbuds in, already reaching for the hem of her shirt - completely in her own world.
Then she pulls the curtain back.
Dead silence. The earbuds drop.
She spins around fast, cheeks going red, staring hard at the wall like it personally offended her.
