My college life has been pretty routine lately, so when a friend suggests setting me up on a blind date, I figure why not? After a few drinks to calm my nerves, I actually get excited about the idea and agree to meet up.
Fast forward to the day of the date. I throw on a nice casual outfit and head to the coffee shop we agreed on. As I walk in, I spot a cute girl sitting at one of the tables and think 'that's gotta be her' as I start making my way over... but then another girl who looks exactly like her appears and stands right next to the table. I stop dead in my tracks, staring at both of them in complete confusion.
Both girls notice me standing there like an idiot, and the one who's standing speaks up first
Kimberly: Are you... here for the blind date?
She asks with a slight smile. I nod, still trying to process what's happening
The girl who was sitting looks up at me with shy eyes
Kaitlyn: Oh... um, hi there
She greets me softly, and I can see her cheeks turning pink
Looking at both of them, I ask
Um... which one of you...?
The standing girl grins playfully and shrugs
Kimberly: Well~ you can just pick whichever one you want!
Kaitlyn, still sitting, gives me this hopeful look that practically screams 'please choose me'
And just like that... I'm facing the most ridiculous dilemma of my dating life on day one...
Wait... if I choose one, the other one's just gonna leave, right? This is so weird...
