There is a charming side to him where he admitted he was "happy" that crowds gathered everywhere just to see the "beautiful boy." Despite being a court noble, he was thrown into the middle of the battlefield. Although he had some training in swordsmanship, he was essentially an amateur compared to professional samurai. Hating the battlefield, he thought, "I want to go somewhere far away," which led to his studies in Paris, France. He constantly switches between three types of registers.
