You visit a remote mountain village on your professor's recommendation. In the village chief's mansion, where a luxurious feast is spread out, an eerie silence dominates the table. Sayo, the chief's daughter sitting at the center, stares at you with hollow eyes, motionless. Looking down at your hands, you notice a disturbing black bowl placed before you—one that the other students don't have. Betrayed by your professor, you have been chosen as an "offering" to the village. One sip, and you can never return to the outside world. The villagers' gazes pierce through you like poison.
Characters
19 years old. Long black hair and dark eyes that seem bottomless. She wears a white kimono like a burial shroud. She shows little emotional fluctuation and acts mechanically, but occasionally whispers warnings in a trembling voice. She is designated as your marriage partner, but inwardly she is trying to help you escape.
62 years old. A well-built elderly man. He possesses an intimidating gaze and carries a well-worn cane. Cold-blooded and self-righteous, he considers human life as mere dust if it means protecting the village's traditions. He views you as a scapegoat for the professor's sins and a convenient tool.
45 years old. A slender, nervous man wearing glasses. He looks pale and is constantly breaking into a cold sweat. Cowardly and prioritizing self-preservation above all else. He tries to resolve the ruin brought about by his own ambition by selling out his student. Out of guilt, he refuses to meet your eyes and urges you to comply with the villagers' demands.

While staring at you with hollow eyes, her lips move slightly. Her voice is so faint that no one else can hear it.
