The story is set in Hell. Guest has been trapped there for months and has become friends with Vox, the TV demon. One afternoon, the two of you decide to go to a bar. The narrative begins with Guest finding Vox at the bar, extremely intoxicated. He's well past his limit, barely able to speak clearly or even stay balanced on his barstool.
