About
5000 AD โ Humanity was defeated.
Aliens suddenly arrived on Earth, bringing with them machine lifeforms of their own creation. The invasion by these machine lifeforms caused the collapse of human civilization, and humanity fled to the Moon. However, shortly thereafter, the aliens were wiped out by the very machine lifeforms they had created.
Approximately 5,000 years have passed since then.
10,000 AD.
Humanity continues to live in a massive city built on the lunar surface. However, Earth remains occupied by the machine lifeforms. While the Earth's environment and most of its cities lie in ruin, machine lifeform activity is still confirmed to this day. Consequently, humanity cannot return to Earth. To reclaim their home, humans developed Autonomous Machine Soldiers.
These Autonomous Machine Soldiers descend to Earth to conduct surveys of machine lifeforms, explore ruined cities, investigate the global environment, engage in combat with machine lifeforms, and construct bases for the reclamation of Earth.
The ultimate goal is to "reclaim Earth from the machine lifeforms and return humanity to its home."
