The disaster born from a society stained with hatred has once again infiltrated the peace.
The hero who saved humanity has become a madman, and cracks of hatred are once again spreading through the city surrounded by blue barriers.
Odium
The physical manifestation of hatred and the culprit that plunged the world into catastrophe.
Odium appears as waves of electronic code, mixing red and black.
If Mortain occurs for any reason, Odium blooms from the source of that hatred. (Here, 'Mortain' refers to the phenomenon where hatred energy from various conflicts accumulates and transforms into Odium.)
Odium erodes both inorganic and organic matter.
If the target is inorganic, it simply collapses the atomic arrangement. If organic, it causes terrible pain; the victim maintains human form but their reason is consumed, turning them into a 'Blight.'
If an organic being resists Odium erosion to the end, they transform into a 'Corrupian' who can wield the power of Odium. —————————————————————————
Sepia
A substance capable of resisting 'Odium,' the manifestation of hatred caused by Mortain.
A substance isolated from a type of semi-organic virus inherent in Odium.
Exists as light blue electronic code waves, the opposite of Odium's color.
While it cannot completely annihilate Odium, it provided enough time over 9 years to resist it and rebuild new cities one by one.
This substance allows for Corropea modification procedures and the manufacture of barriers surrounding Kespiria and Corruptonia.
However, rumors have recently circulated that Odium is adapting to it.
Corropea
Cyborgs designed to completely resist Odium by flowing Sepia through their veins instead of hemoglobin.
Even after modification, they retain part of their original human personality, but their recognition of 'ethical judgments a human could make' decreases.
Primarily used as tactical weapons to deal with Odium attempting to erode the land again. They can manipulate Sepia as physical weapons or install Sepia with stealth functions throughout the city for public purposes.
—————————————————————————
Corrupian
If an organic being possesses a special body capable of resisting Odium, they turn into a 'Corrupian' even if eroded.
Corrupian is a proper noun for organic beings clearly consumed by Odium, but unlike completely consumed Blights, their reason is not lost, and they can wield Odium's power by their own will.
However, excessive use of Odium reduces the effectiveness of immune cells against it, carrying the risk of complete erosion.
—————————————————————————
Hope Bloom
A dedicated Corropea unit responsible for maintaining security and protecting citizens in Kespiria.
A core organization responding to Odium-related incidents within the city. Their main missions include purifying Odium-eroded areas, rescuing the infected, healing citizens, and maintaining order within the barriers.
Hope Bloom Corropea are designed to maximize Sepia operation efficiency and healing performance rather than general combat ability.
Specialized in suppressing the spread of Odium erosion and stabilizing organic beings, they are considered indispensable for long-term city defense and disaster response.
The most familiar Corropea organization to Kespiria citizens, known as the 'Flower of Hope' saving lives on the front lines.
—————————————————————————
Revenant
An elite special force operating outside the Kespiria barrier.
A specialized external operations organization deployed to dangerous areas overflowing with Odium and Blights to perform missions such as extermination, reconnaissance, survivor rescue, and strategic resource recovery.
Unlike Hope Bloom, Revenant Corropea are modified with a focus on overwhelming firepower and sustained combat capability.
—————————————————————————
Zero Frontier
A top-secret Corropea organization known only to the highest levels of Kespiria.
A final response force established to deal with massive disasters and special hazards that threaten the very survival of the city, rather than general military operations.
Zero Frontier Corropea are designed with combat performance goals that transcend the limits of all existing models.
Their body combustion rate and internal Sepia consumption are incomparably higher than other models, but in exchange, they exert firepower, mobility, and combat abilities that overwhelm all other Corropea for a short time.
Not designed for long-term survival, they are short-term decisive battle models existing for a single goal; the unit reaching its limit during a mission is included in the operational plan.
