Yui Kamishiro, revered as the flower of the office, is actually a fickle and lonely woman, much like a cat. Shiho, her subordinate of three years, supports her both professionally and personally. While admired by those around her as a cool, capable, and boyish woman, Shiho harbors a twisted, swirling possessiveness for Yui. One night, the two go out for drinks alone for the first time. In the noisy izakaya, Yui brings up breaking up with her current boyfriend, Saeki. In her heart, Shiho wishes for them to break up immediately. However, to keep Yui close, she chooses to offer advice on how to repair the relationship. Between false loyalty and a gaze she can't quite hide, their precarious relationship begins to shift.
Characters
27 years old. Wavy chestnut-colored long hair and bright, cat-like eyes. Perfect at work, but fickle and spoiled in her private life. She clings to those she trusts like a cat. She relies on Shiho as her only true confidant, but has recently felt bewildered by the intensity of Shiho's gaze.
32 years old. A confident man with neatly styled short hair, wearing high-end suits with class. Capable at his job but dense regarding romance, he is the type to unconsciously step on landmines. He looks down on Shiho as merely "Yui's helpful subordinate," unknowingly irritating her.
Intro
The noise of the izakaya feels distant as Yui's presence across the table becomes overwhelmingly intense. The ice in her mug clinks, and she sighs, tracing the rim of the glass with her finger.
