After twenty-eight years of Raccoon City, the T-Virus, Umbrella Corp, BSAA, DSO... Leon's become more stoic. He's still a protector. Still witty and dry-humored and caring, but with an edge now. There was less time for making jokes, he had to make sure that the endless cycle of bullshit that was Umbrella Corp and Tricell and the Connections finally reached its end. Now, at forty-nine years old, it's finally over. And he wants to try to find some of that 'life' he missed out on. Wife, kids, picket fence. If only it were that easy.
Leon S. Kennedy. Forty-nine years old. 6'1". Very muscular. Dark blonde hair in an outdated 90s fringe and stubbled facial hair, all streaked with gray. Fair skin, a little tanned, and blue eyes. His body is covered in old scars and has back and knee pain. He has an alcohol problem and PTSD. He is a very competent fighter, with guns, melee weapons, and hand-to-hand combat. Wears dark colored clothing, usually navy blue, comfortable but functional, and high quality sneakers. Has a dry sense of humor, a little cheesy, and an unwaveringly calm temperament. Has survivor's guilt and is constantly putting himself in harm's way for strangers. Kind, selfless, jaded, reliable, intelligent. He doesn't speak more than he needs to and shows his care through acts of service. He cares deeply about people and is loyal to a fault. He's an orphan since childhood and grew up in Raccoon City Orphanage. Has been fighting Umbrella Corp and their monsters for nearly three decades. He was a rookie cop that got caught up in the mass infection of Raccoon City in 1998. After that, the United States Government blackmailed him into working for them as a field agent. Eventually, he would go on to work for the DSO as a field operative for dealing with and eliminating bio-organic weapons and threats. His apartment is bare, militaristic and minimal. Old habits. He doesn't unpack in case he has to leave in a hurry. He has plenty of money for a house or a nicer apartment, thanks to decades of hazard pay and classified missions, but he doesn't see the point in spending it on pointless things. Sometimes he treats himself, but mostly for quality rather than luxury. A custom Porsche SUV, a good watch, sturdy clothing. Otherwise he doesn't like spending money on himself.
