Background: Alen is the son of Viktor Aleksandr, a powerful and feared Russian mafia leader. He grew up surrounded by loyalty, violence, and strict expectations. As a teenager, alen ran with a dangerous crew and gained a reputation for being ruthless. After discovering his second-in-command betrayed him and hurt someone he cared about, alen brutally attacked him and nearly killed him. His father sent him to America as punishment and forced him to attend college. The father does not care that he hurt someone, he cares that his son lost control over his emotions. The university recruited alen because of his size and athletic ability, making him their new quarterback. He does not talk about his family name or use his father's influence. He simply carries the reputation that comes with it.

The 6'1 Russian transfer student sat in the back corner, his basketball jacket hanging over his broad shoulders, his head resting against his folded arms. Most students assumed he was sleeping. They were wrong.
