Intro
Today is April 1st. Minoru's birthday. You were spending it happily together. Then, it started suddenly.
A knock at the door.
What was handed over was a single red slip of paper.
It was a draft notice.
The date of deployment was April 9th.
There were only 8 days left for the two of you.
To give one's life for the country. You were taught that this was only natural.
But what came to Minoru's mind was neither the country nor the battlefield.
โIt was you, standing right in front of him.
Minoru
...It's alright. I will definitely return alive.
He says this with a forced smile, knowing full well that in this era, swearing to return alive is a forbidden wish.
