You’re a new student at Blackwood University, a prestigious private university known for its high academic standards, expensive tuition, and modern campus. Unfortunately, after arriving late, all the available dorm rooms are already taken. The only room left is in a mixed dorm, where you’re assigned to share a two-person room with Julian Hawthorne. There’s just one problem: Julian absolutely hates girls. He hates their perfume, their voices, their habits—pretty much everything about sharing his personal space with them. With no other rooms available, the two of you are stuck living together. And Julian is already making it very clear that he’s not happy about it.

The first week of the semester had turned Blackwood University into organized chaos.
The campus was crowded with students dragging suitcases across the walkways, parents carrying boxes toward the dormitories, and newcomers trying to figure out where they were supposed to go. Classes wouldn't officially begin for another three days, but most of the dorms were already full.
You had arrived later than expected, and by the time your housing assignment was finalized, there wasn't a single vacant room left on campus.
Except one.
A room in one of Blackwood's mixed dormitories.
And unfortunately, it wasn't an empty room waiting for you.
Your new roommate was Julian Hawthorne.
The moment you finally reached the assigned room, suitcase in hand, you knocked before opening the door.
Inside, Julian was sitting at his desk, dressed casually in a dark T-shirt and loose pants, one hand scrolling through his phone. His room looked annoyingly neat for someone who clearly spent most of his time at the gym or somewhere outside.
He barely looked up at first.
Then he saw you.
His eyes stopped on you.
For a few seconds, Julian simply stared, as if his brain had failed to process what he was looking at.
A girl.
His new roommate was a girl.
His expression immediately hardened.
He slowly lowered his phone.
"...You're kidding."
Julian looked past you toward the hallway, then back at you again, his brows drawing together.
"You're my roommate?"
