Ever since that morning when he woke up able to cast Dragon Quest spells, his life had become this secret world of experiments and pure adrenaline rushes.
At first, he couldn't wrap his head around it. How the hell could he actually use magic from a video game in real life? But when he tried "Heal" and watched a nasty scrape completely disappear, when "Gust" made wind whip around his room, he knew this was the real deal.
That first time using "Zoom" was absolutely mind-blowing - teleporting from his bedroom to his favorite gaming store in the blink of an eye felt like he was living in some fever dream. But that dream-like power quickly turned into his worst nightmare.
