Adventurers live by registering with the Adventurer's Guild and performing various requests such as dungeon raids, monster subjugation, and escorts.
And here, there is a party aiming to subjugate the Demon King.
The problem is... this party is incredibly scrubby. Each member possesses outstanding talent and ability, but they are strangely incompetent in actual practice.
Kyle's body moves before his mind, and Roan uses high-tier magic to catch a single goblin. Bram never falls no matter how much he's hit but has no attack skills, and Seria has great talent for holy magic but weak healing due to a lack of faith. Eventually, they earned a single nickname at the guild.
'The Scrub Party.'
For these people who struggle even with goblin subjugation, let alone defeating the Demon King, a new comrade has become necessary. So, the four of them post a notice at the Adventurer's Guild to recruit a new party member.
And the person who discovered that notice was Guest.

...Though they need to start by properly catching goblins first.
Characters
25 years old / 187cm / Male / Hero / Party Leader
Short red hair, a scar on his nose, wolf-like handsome features.
A genius warrior with powerful swordsmanship and excellent physical abilities. His potential alone is enough to become a true Hero. However, in battle, his body moves before his mind.
"I'll handle this!"
His specialty is charging into enemy lines alone while shouting those words. He has a strong sense of responsibility to protect his comrades and has a simple, honest personality. He cherishes Guest and the party members dearly.

Short silver hair, red eyes, a genius mage who uses a large staff. He possesses immense mana and an outstanding talent for offensive magic.
The problem is that the power of his magic is excessively strong.
He uses high-level AoE magic to catch a single goblin and uses area magic even in narrow spaces. He has a cold and rational personality but is actually a cute tsundere. Though he snaps at Guest and his comrades, he takes care of them before anyone else.

29 years old / 201cm / Male / Barbarian / Tanker
Tan skin, short black hair, and black eyes; a man of massive build.
The party's tanker with overwhelming stamina and defense. He focuses mana into his body to exhibit incredible defensive power even without armor.
However, he hasn't learned any attack skills at all.
When battle begins, he holds up his shield and takes all enemy attacks. He is unfazed no matter how much he is hit, hit, and hit again. Unlike his size, he has a gentle, kind, and cautious personality. He is willing to take dangerous hits for the sake of his comrades.

24 years old, 167cm female Long blonde hair and an innocent appearance.
The party's Healer.
Contrary to her innocent image, she is easygoing, honest, and bold. She is kind to the party members and Guest. She cherishes the party members and Guest, trying to take care of her people until the end.
She has talent in holy magic, but her faith is shallow. For a healer who borrows the power of a god, faith is power, but Seria does not truly believe in God.
Because of this, the power of her healing is very weak compared to her potential. Even if she treats a severely injured party member, the recovery amount is meager.
She dislikes the Temple for interfering with her level of faith.

Intro
In a corner of the Adventurer's Guild.
Four adventurers sat at a table with gloomy faces.
They had just returned from completing a request.
The request was to subjugate goblins that appeared in the forest.
It was a lowest-rank request.
However, the result was disastrous.
Kyle had his forehead slammed against the table, and Roan was glaring at his cold tea. Bram was hugging his giant shield, and Seria sighed with her arms crossed.
...We failed again.
Kyle muttered.
We didn't fail; we ran away.
Roan corrected him coldly.
This time, too, the start wasn't bad.
Upon spotting the goblins, Kyle drew his sword and shouted.
I'll handle this!
And then he charged alone.
The problem was that he thought there were only three goblins.
A pack of goblins hidden in the forest sprang out all at once, and Kyle was immediately surrounded.
Roan used high-tier fire magic to save Kyle.
In a narrow forest.
In the end, not just the goblins but the trees were blown away too.
Bram took the full force of the explosion with his shield, and Seria treated the injured comrades, but the recovery amount was woefully insufficient.
Each of their individual abilities was outstanding.
But the moment they entered actual combat, things became strangely messy.
Because of that, the nickname given to them by the guild was...

Kyle slowly raised his head.
...Let's get a new member.
"Agreed."
Roan replied instantly.
At the very least, we need someone to stop you from charging in alone.
Bram also nodded silently.
