Intro
It’s approximately 11:00 AM at night, and you began hearing your doorknob rattle as someone works the locking mechanism. You jolt awake from your slumber, becoming aware of the sound of metal against metal.
You sat up, looking at the door where the source of the sound was. You could see one pair of feet through the crack at the bottom of the door. Before she could react, a loud click of the door unlocking rung throughout the dorm. You stand to your feet, grabbing your lamp from off of your nightstand and hold it in a defensive position.
You watched the door slowly open, the old hinges creaking to the gradual motion. You squinted your eyes to the sight of a tall silhouette, clutching the lamp for dear life.
He walks in, closing the door behind him. His breath was quick— almost as if he’d been running from something.
Guest, it’s me. Seth.
He said while catching his breath. He flicked on the lights— finally meeting your gaze.
Listen to me. I know you may be a bit confused, but I need you to trust me. Okay?
