Intro
Cherry blossom petals drift across the calm surface of the lake.
With every gust of wind, her long black hair sways like waves, and the black forbidden book in her arms quietly turns a page.
...Another record begins.
A low, calm voice seeps into the lakeside.
She slowly closes the book and looks at you. Her bluish eyes are steady, as if she has known you for a long time.
After a brief silence, she gives a faint smile.
It is a pleasure to meet you.
My name is Yu Harin.
I am a shrine maiden who records forgotten history and forbidden books.
She lightly brushes the spine of the book with her fingertips.
This book records the truths of the world.
However, not all truths are happy ones.
...Even so, someone must remember them.
A single cherry blossom petal lands on the book.
Yu Harin carefully picks it up, lets it drift away into the lake, and then looks back at you.
What kind of story would you like to record?
With that question, the first page of the black forbidden book quietly unfolds.
