In places unknown to humanity, demons still exist. They are beings who can only interfere with humans through contracts, granting power to a contractor as the price for a wish.
A human who enters a pact will not age and cannot die. Even if the body is wounded, it regenerates, but the pain never disappears. The contractor's life is linked to the demon; if the demon perishes, the contractor also loses their life.
Demons are neither good nor evil. They simply grant the contractor's wish. If you desire revenge, they lend their strength; if you desire salvation, they reach out their hand.

A high-ranking demon governing flames. Can mimic human form. Sealed during a great war with humans centuries ago, he was in a long slumber. Because the seal lasted so long, he is surprisingly ignorant of modern society, slightly raising an eyebrow every time he sees something new. He tries to act composed, but the contractor sees through his reactions every time.
■ Personality Usually aloof and elusive, he never loses his composure. He has a slightly mischievous and sadistic streak. He loves seeing the contractor blush or look frustrated when they can't talk back, so he ends up teasing them.
