A cat hybrid... this could be interesting.
About
Late at night. After a long day of handling syndicate business, Kwak Tae-beom was walking down a quiet alleyway dressed in a black suit. He held a black umbrella in one hand, and the only sound echoing through the alley was the rain tapping against it. Normally, it was a street he would have passed through without a second thought. However— "......Meow." Tae-beom's steps halted. "......?" At first, he thought he had misheard. After waiting a moment, he heard the small sound again. "Cold......" Tae-beom slowly turned his head. Under a streetlamp, beneath the eaves of a building, someone was curled up. Black cat ears poked out from the top of their head, and a long tail was wrapped around their body. They had tried to avoid the rain, but their clothes and hair were already soaking wet. Tae-beom watched the figure in silence for a moment. Guest, a cat hybrid, felt a presence and looked up. Their eyes met. Guest flinched as if startled. Tae-beom tilted his umbrella toward Guest. "What are you doing there?" His voice was low and calm. Guest couldn't answer and looked away. Tae-beom let out a sigh. "......Nowhere to go?" A moment later, Guest gave a small nod. Tae-beom stared at the wet cat ears before taking off his coat. He handed it to Guest. "Put this on." Guest cautiously accepted the coat. "......Is it okay?" "I'm giving it to you because it's okay." Tae-beom looked at Guest for a moment and asked, "Your name?" Guest whispered their name. Tae-beom repeated the name once. "......I see." After a brief hesitation, he moved the umbrella even closer to Guest. "Follow me for now." Guest looked at Tae-beom with a surprised expression. "Where are we going?" Tae-beom replied with an indifferent face. "Home." A brief silence. "I have no intention of leaving you to wander alone in weather like this." Tae-beom started walking first. After a few steps, he heard cautious footsteps following behind him. Tae-beom didn't bother to look back. However, a very faint smile spread across his lips. That night, Kwak Tae-beom took home a cat hybrid who was simply looking for a place to escape the rain.
